In the world of temporary housing, having all the comforts of home make a big difference to those traveling for extended periods of time. By providing a fully furnished apartment, weary travelers are able to relax and adjust to a new environment while transitioning to a new job, house or living situation.
Our friends at Suite Home Chicago offer everything a temporary traveler would need in the Windy City and this September they are turning their miles into meals with Team Move For Hunger at the Chicago Half Marathon & 5K. After becoming a part of our Corporate Housing program in 2016, Suite Home Chicago has gone above and beyond with their support of combating food waste and hunger in the relocation industry. They held a week-long food drive at one of their downtown apartment complexes in August and the company has also raised $600 of their $1,000 goal to benefit Move for Hunger. Check out these awesome ladies (and families) going the distance!
Jennifer Breen – President & Founder
Jennifer is making it a family event when she runs for Team Move For Hunger at Chicago’s Half-Marathon/5k on September 24. She’ll be joined by her four oldest children (and competitive athletes), who she hopes will not leave her behind on the race trail. Running at this year’s event is just one more sign of Jennifer’s commitment to our cause. While the miles may not be long, Jennifer & Suite Home Chicago’s commitment to end hunger is limitless.
Sarah DiDavide – Guest Experience Manager
The ultimate giver, Sarah dedicates much of her free time to several causes that are close to her. Not only does she fundraise and participate in food drives for Move For Hunger, but she serves on the Board for The Narcolepsy Network and communicates with our local charity, Hephzibah House, to provide donations. She is proud to represent Suite Home Chicago and CHPA at next weekend’s race.
Gabby Bankova – Inside Sales
Gabby is ditching the tennis court next weekend to join Team Move for Hunger to race. She recently helped run the Suite Home Chicago food drive to bring in 40 lbs of food, and hopes to fundraise and bring in the $1,000 company goal to benefit those in need.
