Suite Home Chicago Corporate Housing Team Spotlight

Suite Home Chicago loves to spotlight their team members, so I guess it is my turn.

I grew up in a family of five in the quaint and charming town of Geneva, a far western suburb of Chicago. For college, I headed down to the South and attended The University of Kentucky. In  Lexington, I discovered my love for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball program and also earned a degree in Marketing. Shortly after graduation, I ventured to the Nation’s capital to begin a job in Business Development at a law firm. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Washington, D.C., but came to the realization that Chicago is a city that cannot be beat and relocated back to the Windy City.

Chicago is a city that has so much to offer… if you are bored in Chicago, you are not doing it right. I enjoy spending time along the lakeshore, cheering on Chicago sporting teams, exploring new restaurants/rooftops/patios/street festivals, and learning the history behind the city. There is always something to do, especially when you live and work so close to our gorgeous lakefront.

I started working at Suite Home Chicago in July 2015, handling the marketing and account management for this rapidly growing corporate housing company. Starting my position here was a venture into a new industry.  Other than vacation rentals, I did not know know that there was an entire industry specializing in furnished, temporary housing. Since starting at the company, I have been focusing on supporting our sales team by organizing fun client events, creating promotional materials and overseeing our company social media. We strive to always think outside the box as we approach our clients, and it is exciting to constantly explore new business opportunities for Suite Home Chicago.

Thus far, it has been great to be apart of this team and learn so much about the business and industry. I am looking forward to what is to come.
